Terms of Use

The rules that apply when you read, quote or republish material from this site.

These terms govern use of clusterviewmanual.org. By reading the site, you accept them. They are written to be read, not to be survived, and they describe a simple arrangement: the publication provides documentation, and the reader uses it with judgment.

The Publication

ClusterView Manual is an independent technical documentation project. It publishes configuration notes about order-flow software, including ATAS, Sierra Chart, and Bookmap. It is not affiliated with any of those vendors, does not distribute their software, and does not operate any service that provides access to them.

The site is static. There is nothing to join, and the site takes nothing from you. Nothing on the site constitutes an offer to provide a service beyond reading the pages.

Permitted Use

You may read, print, and quote short passages with attribution to ClusterView Manual and a link to the page. You may not republish whole pages, mirror the site, or incorporate substantial portions into another publication without written permission. You may not use the content to train a model for commercial redistribution without permission, and you may not remove attribution from a quotation.

Automated retrieval that respects the site's availability is acceptable. Retrieval that degrades availability, ignores rate limits, or attempts to bypass access controls is not. The site has no access controls, so the last point is mostly a statement of intent: do not treat a public page as an invitation to overload the host.

No Professional Guidance

The content describes software configuration. It does not provide professional guidance in any field, and it endorses no course of action in any market. Nothing on the site should be read as a statement about what any instrument will do. Configuration guidance is not a forecast, and a chart setting is not a plan for action.

Readers are responsible for their own decisions and for compliance with the rules that apply to them. The publication does not know your circumstances and cannot account for them.

Accuracy and Revision

Configuration behavior depends on software builds, data sources, and platform settings. The manual describes behavior observed and documented at the time of writing, and it may become outdated. Pages carry a revision line; a later revision supersedes an earlier one. The publication does not warrant that every statement remains current, and it does not undertake to update every page on a fixed schedule.

If you find an error, report it through the contact page. Corrections that can be verified are applied, and the revision line is updated. Reporting an error does not create a contractual relationship or an obligation to publish a particular correction.

Intellectual Property

The text, layout, stylesheet, and self-made graphics of this site are the property of the publication. Product names and interface terminology belong to their respective owners and are used descriptively to identify the subject of the documentation. No claim is made to any third-party mark.

Photographs are used under the terms attached to their source; captions identify them as neutral illustrations. They are not screenshots of any software interface and do not depict the products discussed.

No Warranties

The site is provided as-is. To the extent permitted by law, the publication disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. It does not warrant that the site will be available without interruption or that it is free of errors.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the publication is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of the site or reliance on its content. Because the site is provided without charge, the aggregate liability of the publication is limited to the amount paid for access, which is zero. This limitation does not apply where the law does not allow it to apply.

Third-Party Names

ATAS, Sierra Chart, Bookmap, and other names are used to identify the software being described. Their appearance does not imply endorsement, sponsorship, or review by their owners. The publication has no relationship with those vendors beyond writing about their documented interfaces.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved by correspondence will be brought in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County.

Changes

These terms may be revised. The current version is always the one published on this page, and the effective date appears below. Continued use after a revision constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
