This policy explains the site's use of browser storage. The short version: reading ClusterView Manual does not require cookies, and the site does not use them for analytics, advertising, or personalization. The longer version follows, because a policy that only says "we use cookies" is not a policy.
What a Cookie Is
A cookie is a small text record that a site asks a browser to store and return on later requests. Cookies are useful for sessions and preferences. They are also the mechanism behind a great deal of cross-site tracking, which is why this publication avoids them where possible.
Cookies Used for Reading
None. The site is a set of static files: HTML, one stylesheet, a favicon, and images. There is no session to maintain, no sign-in, and no personalized view. Reading a page therefore does not set a cookie, and the absence of a cookie banner follows from that fact rather than from an exemption.
Server Logs
The hosting environment records standard request data, including the requested path, a timestamp, a browser identifier, and an IP address. This is a server log, not a cookie. It is used for security and availability, retained for a short operational period, and not used to build a profile. The privacy policy describes the handling in more detail.
Form Submission
The contact form is a plain HTML form. Submitting it navigates the browser to a static confirmation page. The site does not use a cookie to track the submission, and it does not store the message in browser-accessible storage. The message is handled as correspondence, as described in the privacy policy.
Local Storage and Similar Technologies
The site does not use local storage, session storage, IndexedDB, or fingerprinting scripts. There are no embedded players, no social widgets, and no third-party fonts. The typefaces named in the stylesheet are either present on the reader's system or substituted by the browser; no font file is requested from a remote host.
If You Follow an Email Link
Clicking an email address opens the reader's mail application. That application may have its own storage and privacy practices, which this policy does not control. The same applies to any browser extension or operating system feature that handles the link.
Managing Cookies Generally
Even though this site does not set cookies, readers may want to manage cookies from other sites. Every major browser provides a settings panel for viewing, blocking, and deleting cookies, and most provide a private browsing mode that clears them when the window closes. Blocking all cookies may affect other sites but will not affect this one, because there is nothing here to block.
If a browser is configured to warn before accepting a cookie, reading this site should produce no warnings. A warning would indicate that a different site, an extension, or a proxy is involved, and it is worth identifying which.
Do Not Track and Similar Signals
The site does not track readers across sites, so there is no cross-site behavior for a signal to suppress. The publication nevertheless respects the intent of such signals and does not add tracking that would require a response mechanism.
Third-Party Services
There are no third-party scripts, no analytics providers, no advertising networks, and no content delivery networks beyond the host that serves the files. Images are stored and served from the same domain as the pages. No external link is used for page resources.
Changes to This Policy
If the site ever adds a feature that requires browser storage, this page will describe it before the feature is used, and the description will name the record, its purpose, and its lifetime. The effective date below will be updated at the same time.
